World Music Day:  India has been a cultural hub of art and performance. Historically its rich tapestry of diverse music, dance, and performative art has been relished and appreciated by the connoisseurs across the globe. Indian music known for its vibrancy and richness has gained international fame to the likes of A.R. Rahman and Ustad Bismillah Khan. In contemporary scenes, younger generations of Indian singers are attaining global heights with their cross-cultural appeal and hybrid music that is not bound by the wires of language or geography.  

Diljit Dosanjh 

Creating history after history, this Indian musician from a small town of Punjab is today a name etched on the global music scene. From becoming the first Punjabi singer to perform at Coachella to debuting as the Punjabi guest on the ‘Tonight Show By Jimmy Fallon’ Diljit Dosanjh is on the peak of his music career. Armaan Malik 

A name synonymous with soulful Bollywood music, Armaan Malik chose to traverse a path of his own not restricting his success to the Hindi film industry alone. He is one of the most popular music icons from India who boasts of becoming the first-ever singer to hit the No. 1 on Billboard's Top Triller Global Chart. Ananya Birla 

Ananya Birla has many laurels to her name including the first Indian artist with an English-language single to go platinum in India and the first Indian to sign with Maverick Management in Los Angeles. A household name in the Indian rap and song industry, King started his journey to fame with MTV Hustle which earned him significant recognition. Over the years he has emerged as a popular name with his singles like ‘Maan Meri Jaan’ becoming a popular track in India and abroad.
