Israel-Gaza War: In order to facilitate the delivery of relief supplies to Palestinians, the Israeli army on Sunday announced an 11-hour strategic pause along a route in the southern Gaza Strip. A 12-kilometer stretch in the Rafah region will be included in implementation of this strategic pause.
The tactical cease-fire could help provide food for hungry Palestinians. The war between both countries is continuously going on, without either of them backing out. Eight Israeli soldiers were killed in an explosion last Saturday in southern Gaza. This is the second-highest number of Israeli soldiers killed in a single day during the eight-month-long Gaza war. The highest number was 21 soldiers killed in one day in January.
