Why is ‘All Eyes On Rafah’ Trending?

Israel-Hamas War:  The internet was booming with stories and posts featuring one prominent graphic with “All Eyes on Rafah” written on the land of Rafah, a safe zone housing thousands of displaced Palestinians of the Israel-Hamas conflict. But what led to this sudden upsurge to divert the world’s attention to Rafah? 

Why “All Eyes On Rafah”?

Israel bombarded the al-Mawasi region in western Rafah on Sunday burning alive at least 45 people mainly consisting of children and women after the International Court of Justice ordered the country to halt their attacks on Gaza. “All Eyes on Rafah” is a call to action via an AI-generated image campaign supported by Humanitarian activists, and celebrities alike shedding light on the inhabitable conditions of Rahaf.
