J-Hope Docuseries release: J-Hope’s docuseries, ‘HOPE ON THE STREET’ will be streaming on Prime Video.  The streaming giant on 19 February announced, HOTS, a docuseries following J-hope's journey to becoming a member of the magnanimous K-pop group BTS, produced by the label behind BTS, HYBE will be available for fans and ARMY to stream from March 28.

HOPE ON THE STREET on Prime Video

The six-part docuseries will be available in more than 240 countries with new episodes released weekly every Thursday and Friday. The series will open a window to the lesser-known journey of BTS’s popular member pursuing his love for dancing as he traverses on a novel path in his 12th year since debut and turning back to his roots i.e. dancing.

As Hope explores the streets of Osaka, Seoul, Paris, New York, and Gwangju, he is accompanied by his former instructor and popping champion Boogaloo Kin, acquainting with street dancers around the world.

The documentary will also feature songs from his highly anticipated special album, ‘HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1’, slated for a release on March 29 at 1 p.m. Korean Standard Time with pre-sales starting today.

J-hope’s docuseries teaser dropped

Jung Hoseok celebrated his 30th birthday on 18 February and presented the ARMY with the teaser of the docuseries as a present. The singer and the producing label both shared the teaser officially on his birthday eve.

He also shared an instagram post to the delight of his fans, giving a glimpse of his birthday celebration, and the time he has been spending in his military enlistment.

The first news about the documentary aired from the man himself last year on his teammate Suga’s talk show ‘Suchwita’ where he mentioned his dance journey documentary, revealing its title.

The upcoming series will surely be a sight for sore eyes, as the singer-dancer is currently on a hiatus from performing to fulfilling his mandatory military service.  He has been appointed as an assistant training instructor with Korea’s 36th Infantry Division in Wonju and is expected to complete his full term by September 2024.
