Jammu Kashmir: Fear of Bomb Blast, Terrorist Attack in Udhampur | Udhampur Blast

Two bomb blasts have created a sensation in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district within the last eight hours. Earlier on Wednesday night, a blast in a bus in Udhampur district of Jammu caused a stir in the entire district. 2 people were injured in this blast. Other vehicles parked around the bus were also damaged. The police have not ruled out the terrorist angle of the blast.

Two blast within 8 hours

There was an explosion in a bus on Wednesday night at 10.45 pm. Exactly eight hours after this, i.e. around 6 o'clock in the morning, there was an explosion in another bus. No casualty has been reported so far in this blast. According to media reports, on Wednesday night, there was an explosion in a bus parked at Domel Chowk, in which two people were injured. 

The injured have been admitted to hospital. This incident is being seen as a terrorist conspiracy. Police are busy investigating the matter. Investigation has been done by Army Bomb Disposal Squad and Dog Squad at Bus Stand in Jammu and Kashmir Udhampur.

Police comments on the matter

Confirming the blast, ADGP Jammu Mukesh Singh said that the first blast occurred in a bus parked at a petrol pump near Domel Chowk in Udhampur, while the second blast took place in a bus parked inside the old bus stand this morning. Both these blasts were the same. While two people, including the conductor, were injured in the night's bomb blast, no one was reported injured in this morning's bomb blast. Police is busy investigating the matter. Investigation has been done by Army Bomb Disposal Squad and Dog Squad at Bus Stand in Jammu and Kashmir Udhampur.
