JEE Main 2021 Session 4 postponed:
The JEE Main 2021 session 4 exams have now been postponed, and the same will now be held on 26th, 27th, 31st August, 1st September, and 2nd September 2021 as stated by Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Thursday. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been advised to provide a gap of four weeks between session 3 and session 4 of the JEE (Main) 2021 Exam, said Dharmendra Pradhan.
Sharing further information, Dharmendra stated that “a total of 7.32 lakh candidates have already registered for the JEE (Main) 2021 session 4. The Registrations for the JEE Main session is still in progress and the dates for registration will further be extended up to 20th July.”
It must be noted that prior to this, the third edition of the engineering entrance exam was scheduled to be conducted from 20th July to 25th July while the fourth session was from 27th July to 2nd August. However, the exams were postponed due to the Covid-19 situation in the country.
While the students are being given a choice by the examination authority this year to answer 75 questions 25 each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, out of 90 questions being 30 each in Physics, Chemistry and, Mathematics.
The merit list or ranking will be presented on the basis of the best scores of the candidates.
The JEE Main 2021 exam is being conducted in 13 languages this year including English, Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
