But let’s start from the start to know more about this gem of contemporary Hindi cinema.
On 1 September 1990 Jitendra Kumar was born in Khairthal, Alwar, Rajasthan. Coming from a family that boasted of all engineers in the home he followed the trail of his family members to enroll himself at IIT Kharagpur. A college ragging session tapped his dormant interest in acting, encouraging him to join the dramatics club of the institution. His steps at the Hindi drama society took him to Biswapati Sarkar who would later provide him with a life-changing opportunity of joining TVF, a name popularly associated with Kumar.
Still in college, he was a confused Chad following a course he had no willing inclination to, and then getting a job that left him more drained than determined. After his eight-month trial at a 9 to 5 job as a civil engineer, he realized he wanted to give his chance to act. He was engaged with Biswapati Sarkar, the Executive Creative Director and writer at TVF during his college days where the two bonded on their shared love for stories enacted on stage. Sarkar became the anchor of a confused Jitender inviting him to work with as an actor. The opportunity YouTube out to be the turning point of his life altering its trajectory.

But as luck would have it, TVF released his “Munna Jazbaati” on YouTube- an instant viral hit. Then came the surge of Tech Conversations With Dad, A Day With, TVF Bachelors, Kota Factory, and series like TVF Pitchers, Permanent Roommates, and Kota Factory India’s first black and white series.
He made his debut in films with ‘Shuruat Ka Interval’ in 2014, followed by ‘Gone Kesh’ in 2019, ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ with Ayushmaan Khurrana and ‘Chaman Bahar’ in 2020. In 2019, TVF’s Kota Factory catapulted his fame as Jeetu Bhaiya, an empathetic teacher.
Since 2020 he has been a favorite as the urban secretary of Phulera village in Prime Videos 'Panchayat.’
