Jungkook Seven Song: BTS maknae Jeon Jungkook is again making heads turn with his chart-topping song Seven Ft. Latto, and ARMYs are already going crazy as he has also released an explicit version of the song. With 21.9 million streams, 6.4 million radio listeners, and 153,000 combined digital and CD singles sold from July 14 to July 20, Jungkook’s “Seven,” which features South Korena actress Han So-hee, has earned the top place on the HOT 100. After his “hyung” and fellow bandmate Jimin’s success with “Like Crazy” in April, Jungkook’s Solo single, which was released on July 14, is the second Hot 100 chart-topper by a South Korean solo artist. Not only this, “Seven” also placed at Number 2 on Digital Song Sales, Number 4 on Streaming Songs, Number 30 on Adult Pop Airplay, and Number 33 on Pop Airplay.
“Seven” is also Jungkook’s seventh Billboard Hot 100 number-one song; he previously held the position with BTS six times between 2020 and 2021. The group’s most recent number-one single, “My Universe,” was in collaboration with British Band Coldplay. In addition to all of this, “Seven” also help Latto in achieving her first-ever Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper.
After “Seven” reached the top of Billboard’s HOT 100 chart, Jungkook shared a moment on Weverse and wrote, “Let’s go higher” for ARMYs. He also praised Han So-Hee’s performance in the behind-the-scenes of “Seven, and also hinted about his appearance on Suga’s program “Suchwita.” Jungkook is soon going to release his debut album, which is expected to be fully in the English language. According to reports, the album will be released this year, and Andrew Watt, who co-wrote and co-produced “Seven,” is anticipated to work with Jungkook once more on his upcoming album.
