According to Sacnilk, Kalki 2898 AD grossed an estimated Rs 85 Cr in India on Sunday, bringing its total domestic collection to Rs 302 Cr.

On a global scale, Kalki became the first Indian film to gross $11 million (approximately Rs 90.2 Cr) in its opening weekend in North America. The film ranked fifth at the North American box office, trailing big names like ‘Inside Out 2’, ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’, and ‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die’. According to estimates, Kalki 2898 AD earned Rs 550 Cr globally within four days of its release.

Kalki outperformed Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, the highest-grossing Indian film of 2023, which earned Rs 286 Cr in the same timeframe. The film had the third-highest opening for an Indian film ever, with a global opening of Rs 191.5 Cr, surpassing the opening day records of hits like KGF 2, which collected Rs 159 Cr worldwide, and Jawan, which earned Rs 129.10 Crglobally on its first day.

The Telugu version of Kalki 2898 AD has made the biggest contribution to the film’s total box office earnings, grossing Rs 162.1 Cr. The Tamil version made Rs 18.3 Cr, the Hindi version made Rs 110.5 Cr, the Malayalam version made Rs 9.7 Cr, and the Kannada version made Rs 1.8 Cr by the end of the first weekend.
