Tejas Release date:Kangana Ranaut after teasing the audience with the initial glimpse of ‘Emergency’ has thrown yet another filmy card on the table. Stepping in the shoes of Indian air force Pilot, Kangana Ranaut is to make a comeback in October this year with the film ‘Tejas’. Scripted and helmed by director Sarvesh Mewara, Tejas bankrolled by RSPV movies will be having its theatrical debut in October 2023. The production house recently revealed the premiere date of the film with a big update. Here is everything you need to know about Kangana Ranaut starrer.

Tejas release date

Kangana Ranaut headlined ‘Tejas’ will be released in theaters on October 20. RSPV movies in a tweet announced ”Get ready for an adrenaline filled adventure! Tejas storyline

Tejas has been the part of Knagana’s dream project, which the actress will carry solely on her shoulders. The film will mark its presence ahead of Emergency. Although not much is revealed about Kangana’s starrer, the report quotes that Tejas revolves around the protagonist Tejas Gill, who aims towards “Instilling profound sense of pride in the brave soldiers who valiantly defend our country, overcoming many obstacles along the way."

Is Tejas inspired from a real life story

'Tejas', featuring Kangana Ranaut, narrates the tale if a brave and audacious fighter pilot. In 2016, the Indian Air Force became the first defense force in the country to include women in combat positions, and this significant event serves as the inspiration for the film. Kangana portrays an Air Force Officer in 'Tejas', embodying the spirit and dedication of these pioneering women in the armed forces.

What’s next for Kangana?

Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming movie apart from Tejas is Emergency. In Emergency the actress will step foot in the shoes of the former Prime Minister of India.  The narrative will discuss the time when India was under Emergency. India's emergency was a 21-month period from 1975 to 1977 during which Prime Minister Indira Gandhi ordered a state of emergency to be imposed nationwide.
