Instagram Kareena Kapoor Becomes The First Indian Actress To Have A Film Festival With PVRINOX’s KKK Film Festival

Kareena Kapoor Film Festival:  Kareena Kapoor Khan is not just her favorite. She is loved by the millions who have her dialogue on their tongues, by those who recreate her iconic looks, and by those who laugh and cry with her on screen. PVRINOX is clearly aware of the sensation that she, as India's largest cinema exhibitor, has launched a film festival dedicated to Bebo.

PVRINOX announced the KKK Festival 

Kareen Kapoor Khan has recently completed 25 years in the Bollywood Film Industry since the release of her debut movie ‘Refugee’. Honoring and celebrating her decades in the film industry, PVR India's largest cinema exhibitor announced the Kareena Kapoor Khan film festival that will span for 7 days in 15 Indian cities. From 20 September to 27 September, 30 cinemas in 15 Indian cities will run the release of her iconic films along with her latest release ‘The Buckingham Murders’ helmed by Hansal Mehta.

The festival will feature her iconic films including Santosh Sivan’s “Asoka,” Sudhir Mishra’s “Chameli,” Imtiaz Ali’s “Jab We Met,” Karan Johar’s “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham” and Vishal Bhardwaj’s “Omkara.”

Bebo shared the news on Instagram with a trailer featuring her iconic roles from Geet to Chameli. In the caption she poured her heart writing “The blood in my veins, the magic on screen… my job I love… the fire within… here’s to the next 25 ❤️”

First Indian actress with a film festival 

With PVRINOX’s initiative, Kareena became the first Indian actress to have a film festival dedicated to her. Before her only two legendary veterans could boast of such an honor including Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan.

Reacting to the film festivals Bebo said “It is exciting to think that through the film festival, people of all generations will get to experience these amazing films, and I can relive the memories tied to these wonderful films.”Kareena started her journey in Bollywood with Refugee directed by JP Dutta released in 2000.
