IIFA Awards 2025: The IIFA Awards hosted its silver jubilee celebration on 9 March in Jaipur. The 25th edition of the award function was a momentous occasion with a tribute performed by Kareena Kapoor Khan to her grandfather and India’s greatest showman, Raj Kapoor.
The who's of Bollywood were in attendance at the award ceremony that bestowed honors to the deserved film and crew for their 2024 showreel.
Kiran Rao’s directorial debut Laapataa Ladies dominated the night with the most number of trophies to its credit from Best Director, Best Performance in a Lead Role (Female) to the Best Debut.
Among the big winners were Kartik Aaryan, who took home the award for Best Performance in a Lead Role (Male), and Raghav Juyal, recognized for Best Performance in a Negative Role. Debutant Nitanshi Goel won the Best Performance in a Lead Role (Female) for her role of Phool Kumari, defeating the likes of Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
