Katrina cooks for the first time at the Sasuraal
Katrina and Vicky got married and the wedding ceremonies got over nearly a week ago at the Six Sense Fort in Sawai Madhopur, and the fans are still in the hangover of the gorgeous looks of the beloved Katrina and her bright Sabyasachi Lehnga with the royal rustic backdrops of the Udaipur Royal Fort. The couple seems to be enjoying the simple traditional post-marriage rituals at home.
Katrina seems to be happy as she is enjoying the post-marriage rituals at the in-law’s home, she shared an instagram story in the morning, flaunting the Halwa made by her for the Chaukha Chardha ritual. In this Punjabi ritual, the Bahu or the newly married bride cooks a sweet dish for the very first time at the sasuraal and takes charge of the home kitchen.

Our Katrina did practice the same ritual by preparing some fresh Halwa at Vicky’s house and happily posted a picture of the Halwa prasad in a glass dish. She quoted “ Maine Banaya” and “ Chaukha Chardhana…” with a smile emoticon, looks like the bollywood queen is the Kitchen Queen as well. If that is the case, Vicky Kaushal is definitely the luckiest groom to win a beautiful, talented and loving wife like Katrina. Surely Katrina’s In-Laws would feel happy and proud to find such a Sanskaari Bahu. Not just Vicky and his family, Katrina makes all of us feel mushy by this sweet simple gesture for her beloved husband and the In-Laws.
Although Katrina’s ethnicity might not be Indian, these long years in India, and of course the love for Vicky has made her a desi soul. No wonder she chose a typical bright red lehenga for the Punjabi style wedding.
