Entertainment News: Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan both made their debut in the entertainment industry with digital platforms. Sridevi’s youngest left her mark with her Netflix film ‘The Archies’ and Aamir Khan’s son was lauded for his acting in Netflix’s Maharaj. Soon the two forces will be collaborating for their big-screen debut for a film about love in the age of “love, likes and everything in between” helmed by Advait Chandan.

Khushi-Junaid to Romance on screen

Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan shared a post announcing their upcoming romance film together. The first poster features a line art drawing of a boy and a girl scooting together to click a selfie. Produced by Phantom Studios and AGS Entertainment, the film is described to be about “love, like and everything in between” by the makers hinting at the story following a love story in the times of the modern age of dating apps, and Instagram likes.

Announcing the film, the team penned in the caption “Phantom Studios & AGS Entertainment announce the theatrical release of our film about love, likes & everything in between. SAVE THE DATE!!! 7-2-25.”

The reports suggest that the film is a remake of the 2022 Tamil film ‘Love Today’ by Pradeep Ranganathan. ‘Love Today’ follows the ultimate test of two lovers by their father who asks them to exchange their phones leading to many secrets spilling.

Director Advait Chandan has earned a reputation for excelling in portraying nuance but resonating emotions on screen beautifully with his previous works with Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan in ‘Laal Singh Chadha’ and ‘Secret Superstar’.

Khushi and Junaid’ web debut

Boney Kapoor Sridevi’s daughter made her web debut in 2023 with Zoya Akhtar’s teen musical ‘The Archies’ whereas Junaid Khan made his OTT debut in June 2024 with ‘Maharaj’ gaining much acclaim for his versatility as an actor.
