Know about the TMC leader Shahjahan Sheikh accused of human trafficking and ration scam

Shahjahan Sheikh Arrested: Trinamool Congress (TMC) member Shahjahan Sheikh was arrested by the Bengal police on 29 February for his connections in the attack on the ED officials, human trafficking, and ration scam. He has been on the run for 55 days before his arrest.     

Who is Shahjahan Sheikh?

Shahjahan Sheikh is a member of the TMC, originally from Bangladesh, he rose to prominence in Bengal from being a laborer. He is the accused in the ration scam, charges of sexual assault on women in human trafficking, and embezzlement of Rs. 10,000 crores in the ration scam. 

He started as a laborer in SandeshKhali in Bengal and amassed wealth with human trafficking.
