After charismatic Bollywood celebs, Katrina and Vicky Kaushal’s wedding, even Lalu Yadav’s youngest son, Tejashwi Yadav got hitched with his long-time girlfriend Racheal aka Rajshri. This is another high-profile wedding that has been the center of the limelight. The wedding happened in Delhi on Thursday, December 9.
Tejashwi got married to an old family friend Rachel Godinho at Sainik Farms in Delhi. The ceremony was attended by high-profile people like Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav and RJD MP Misa Bharti. However, all the eyes were on the new bride of Tejashwi, who will reportedly be called Rajshri Yadav after marriage. Some media outlets are also reporting her name as Rajeshwari Yadav.
Tejashwi’s bride is reportedly an old family friend who reportedly also went to school with him at DPS, RK Puram in Delhi. She is hailing from Rewari district in Haryana, Rachel and Tejashwi have reportedly been seen together for around 6-7 years now. As per media sources, her family currently resides in Friends Colony in New Delhi.
Professionally, Tejashwi Yadav’s wife has worked in the aviation industry as an air-hostess. Her father is reportedly a teacher who has retired as a principal in a Chandigarh school. There have been reports of some initial resistance in Tejashwi marrying Rachel due to them coming from different religions. Also, there have been some reports saying that there were few differences between Lalu Yadav and Tajashwi Yadav for the marriage but later on things went on smoothly.
Tejashwi is an MLA from Raghopur seat and Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Assembly. Though younger than Tej Pratap Yadav, Tejashwi is considered to be the heir apparent of RJD chief Lalu Prasad.
