One of the fastest emerging 4th generation girl groups, New Jeans has been setting record straight. The all-girl group backed by HYBE under the sub-label of ADOR, is reportedly going to debut in the world of K-dramas. The 5 member girl group including Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein will be voicing an OST in the upcoming K-drama ‘A Time Called You’. The K-drama stars Business Proposal star Ahn Hyo Seop and Vincenzo fame Jeon Yeo Been. Here is everything you need to know about the OST.

New Jeans to sing an OST for K-drama

This won’t be the first time when a K-pop group or a member gave an OST for K-dramas. In fact, it is one of the most adored things in Korea and fans root for their favorite actor and singer to collaborate on such a moment. On August 24, a Netflix representative confirmed the news revealing that NewJeans' contribution to the OST would include a revamped version of Kim Jong Seo's 1996 song Beautiful Restriction. The K-drama recently unveiled its poster and the first trailer, and fans were quick to notice the familiarity with the voice in the background. 

A Time Called You release date and time

The highly awaited K-drama focuses on the lead character of Jeon Yeo Been who deeply mourns the loss of her boyfriend’s life. While feeling sad, Jun Hee finds a strange cassette tape that plays music which somehow makes her go back to the year 1998. She becomes a high school student named Min Ju at that time, and she meets Si Heon, played by Ahn Hyo Seop. He looks a lot like her boyfriend who passed away. The K-drama will be released on Netflix on September 8, 2023.
