Ladakh and Jammu-Kashmir have always been and will always be a vital part of India| Appropriate response to Pakistan in UN

Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh are and will always be integral, inalienable parts of India, according to Prateek Mathur, Counsellor in the Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations. No nation, he claimed, could ignore this reality despite all of its disinformation, hyperbole, and propaganda.

A year has passed since the United Nations adopted the "Veto Initiative," according to Prateek Mathur, who emphasised the need for reforms inside the organisation. India has maintained a consistent and unambiguous stance on the veto. In 2008, the UNGA unanimously voted that all five parts of the UNSC reform, including the veto issue, would be resolved in a comprehensive way and could not be addressed separately from any one group.
