“Sar Tan Se Juda” slogan uprises in Madhya Pradesh, chaos in Muslim Community about a social media post

Madhya Pradesh News: The phrase “sar tan se juda” has caused a stir once more in Madhya Pradesh. Slogans were shouted this time during the rally in Ratlam outside the police station. Around 10 p.m., people protested at the Haat Road police station after an offensive post in Ratlam went viral online. The angry protest continued for more than two hours. During this time, the enraged audience also chanted offensive phrases including “Gustakh-e-nabi ki ek hi saza, sar tan se juda, sar tan se juda” slogan as well.

What was the protest about?

Anger among Muslims grew after an offensive social media statement was made against their faith. Following this, many Haat Road police stations were encircled, and everyone promptly filed an FIR and simultaneously requested the arrest of the accused. Police officers and the team arrived at the scene as the Muslim community’s anger reached another level, and promised to take the necessary measures against whoever posted the comment, which finally eased the uproar.
