Major Movie review & reaction; ‘A heartfelt tribute’ Adivi Sesh movie garners tremendous response

Major movie review & reaction: 'Major,' starring Adivi Sesh, Saiee Manjrekar, and Sobhita Dhulipala, is finally released in theatres today, June 3. Sashi Kiran Tikka's film depicts the fatal night of November 28th, when NSG commando Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan (Adivi Sesh)died serving for the country with all his might. Major is a biopic on Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who was martyred in the Mumbai terror attacks of 26/11 in 2008. The Telugu film was also released in Hindi and has been trending since morning garnering a terrific response from the audience.

Through a series of flashbacks, the film gives us a glimpse into the making of this war hero with the help of a few segments from his childhood and youth. The film depicts Sandeep's childhood, his desire to join the forces, his parents' emotions, his love life, and finally his rise in the NSG as a Training officer.


Sandeep's parents want him to study medicine or engineering, but he would rather serve his country. Apart from fighting fights, Sandeep is also dealing with problems at home, attempting to reconcile with his wife Isha. Then there's the tragic November 26th night. Adivi Sesh gave a fantastic performance as Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. He completely immersed himself in the part. And fans are hailing him for his power packed yet full of emotions performance. Major is already going housefull in many cinema halls and is touted to create wonders following the footsteps of previous two south Indian massive successes as RRR & KGF3 .
