Maldives Backs India With ‘Support And Solidarity’ In Fighting Terrorism

Maldives-India Ties:  Maldives’ Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Khaleel, is currently on a three-day official visit to India from 27 to 27 May. He met Indian Foreign Minister  S. Jaishankar to discuss the amending ties of India and the Maldives and strengthen the Comprehensive Economic and Maritime Security Partnership. 

Sharing a photo of his meeting with FM Khaleel, Jaishankar tweeted, “Pleased to meet FM @abkhaleel of Maldives today. Welcome, Maldives’s support and solidarity, in combating terrorism. India remains committed to the Maldives’ progress and development.”
