Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the Jimny off-roader SUV for the Indian market. Along with launching Maruti Jimny, the company has also opened its booking window. The SUV will be offered in two variants – Zeta and Alpha. Let’s take a look at its specifications.
The Jimny's 1.5-liter K15B petrol engine is modified to deliver 103 bhp and 134 nm of maximum torque. It can be coupled with a four-speed torque converter or a five-speed manual transmission to provide power to all four wheels. With its compact design, light weight, fuel-efficient engine, and AllGrip 4x4 technology from Maruti, this vehicle may be the best choice for off-roading in Indian terrain.
The SUV's inside is stocked with goodies including adjustable second-row headrests, a black console, and circular AC vents. A standalone nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, Suzuki Connect telematics, steering-mounted controls, cruise control, and a push start/stop button are all included with the model.
