Mayank Yadav's Personal Life
Born on 17 June 2002 in the humble home of Punjabi Bagh, West Delhi, Mayank Yadav has made himself synonymous with speed in Indian cricket. His father, Prabhu Yadav is a small businessman who ensured his son was with the proper training required to hone his passion and pace at the Sonnet Club.

After joining the cricket club at just 14, he soon started making waves under the guidance of the club coaches at the time Late Tarak Sinha and Devender Sharma– the coaches at the club.
Early Domestic Cricket Career
Yadav plays for Delhi in Domestic cricket and made his professional and Twenty-twenty debut against Manipur in October 2022. Since then there has been no stopping for him. In the four matches of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, he maintained an impressive economy rate of 6.5 with five wickets to his credit, with six wickets in five Vijay Hazare Trophy matches, twelve tickets in five matches at the Deodhar Trophy 2023 with an average of 17.58 and an economy rate of less than six.
IPL Career
In the 2023 auction of IPL, LSG welcomed Yadav who made a mark in his debut match against Punjab Kings with a match-winning three wickets In the second over bowled at a speed of 155.8km h– the fastest of IPL 2024 and sixth fastest in the overall IPL history. In his second match, he bettered himself with a delivery at 156.7 kph, breaking his record of the fastest ball of IPL 2024. He was also the ‘Man of the Match’ in both his shows.
