The film may not have achieved a milestone o the box office but, it definitely succeeded hitting heart strings of many and emerged out as the cult classic. After leaving the house at 16 and getting enrolled in Barry John Acting Studio in Delhi he did some theaters/plays and worked as a freelancer for a company that specialised in film branding. He aspired to be a movie star. He subsequently relocated to Mumbai, where he landed his first role in a television series.

After relocating to Mumbai, Harsha had the opportunity to make his television debut in 2008 with the SAB TV series Left Right Left. In the year 2010, he relocated to Hyderabad, where he made his Telugu film debut with Thakita Thakita. Then he appeared in Avunu and Naa Istam and kept on doing many films in the industry. It was only in year 2016 when he got his first break in Bollywood with romantic film ‘Sanam teri kasam’ which shed all the lime lights on him overnight.
