Mehbooba Mufti supports Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif's statement on Jammu and Kashmir

Mehbooba Mufti, the president of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a former chief minister, pushed for negotiations with Pakistan on Saturday once more to settle the Kashmir dispute. She argued that India should welcome the goodwill and desire for discussion that Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has shown.

Mehbooba Mufti on Kashmir 

Mehbooba Mufti asserts that the Kashmir dispute has gone unaddressed for the past 75 years. It gets harder and harder. Everyone is aware of the consequences of this issue, including what has happened in Jammu and Kashmir. Thousands of our young people who are struggling to make ends meet are housed in numerous prisons around the country, as well as in Jammu and Kashmir. Talking has become difficult. A circumstance where a typical person is having problems arises every day. Our ability to make money has been decimated. The Kashmir issue must be resolved as quickly as feasible as a result.
