Mozez Singh Opens About Working With Honey Singh For His Docu-Series, And “Volume 1” Controversy

YO YO Honey Singh: Famous:  The maker of the Netflix documentary Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous Mozez Singh took home the  Digital Award for Best Docu-Series/Film for his documentary at the IIFA Awards’ 25th edition. Talking to Jagran the director shared his process of working with the rapper and bringing his story to the world. 

Singh revealed that he wanted to make a series that brings the unknown side of Honey Singh to the world but also does not disrupt the recognition and love he has earned over the years, hence finding the fine balance between the two was the most challenging part of the filmmaking process. 

Touching upon the “Volume 1” controversy he revealed that he himself is unknown about who sang the song as the rapper denies singing it.
