Mumbai Billboard Collapse: After heavy storms hit Maharshtra’s capital Mumbai, a tragic incident took place due to strong winds. Many people lost their lives after a 100-feet tall billboard collapsed in the city’s Ghatkopar area, and fell on a petrol pump station. Till now, 14 people have said to be dead and 70 are injured. While the treatment of 43 injured is still ongoing, 31 have been discharged.
The Mumbai Police have filed a case against the owner of ‘Ego Media’ and others, including owner Bhavesh Bhide, under various sections. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde reached the accident spot and announced a Rs 5 lakh compensation to the families of those killed in the incident.
