Navratri 2024: The nine-day festivities celebrating the nine avatars of goddess Durga, Navratri is about to commence from 3 October. Each day is dedicated to one form of the goddess with one color used to represent them. Day 1 is dedicated to Maa Shailputri associated with the orange color.

Wearing orange on Day 1 of this navratri is auspicious as it marks the start of a new chapter and a bright future with the color of a rising sun. Here are some ways in which you can incorporate an orange outfit on the first Navratri.

Floral Saree

‘Munjya’ star Sharvari Wagh donned a tangerine orange saree from the shelves of House of Masaba for her photoshoot. Her look is a blend of sleek glamor and sophistication perfect for girls who like to drape sarees on a regular basis. Take inspiration from Sharvari and wear an orange saree with large floral motifs all over it. With neatly pleated pallu, keep the look clean and mess-free with a sharp high bun.
