Officials claim that 4th wave of covid-19 will come to India in January 2023

Nowadays there is a furor in China due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic. Once again China has come under the grip of Corona. The situation is so bad that experts from all over the world have expressed concern about it. Corona cases are increasing not only in China but also in many countries in Europe. At present, the kind of pictures coming out from China reminds of the period of 2020-21 when India saw the worst phase of this epidemic. At the same time, the central government has accepted that the fourth wave of Corona will also come to India.

188 new cases

The health department has released data that shows 188 new cases of the coronavirus were seen in India on Wednesday, after which the total active number of corona cases has increased to 3468. At present, the daily positivity rate in India is 0.14% while the weekly is 0.18%. 

4th wave to start in January

Union Health ministry officials have said that “Citing the trend so far of reaching India between 20 to 35 days after starting from East Asian countries, the wave of corona infection is estimated to start sometime in January”
