OMG 2 Teaser OUT: Akshay Kumar’s perfect portrayal as Lord Shiva in Oh My God, Pankaj Tripathi steals the show

Oh My God 2 Teaser OUT:  The year 2023 can be considered a remarkable year for the Bollywood industry and movie lovers, as fans are getting back-to-back movie releases in 2023. First KJo’s “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani” gave hopes of getting the Bollywood romance back, SRK’s “Jawan” gave goosebumps with the first prevue release, and now Akshay Kumar is all set to captivate audiences with his upcoming devotional movie “OMG 2.” The makers just dropped the teaser of the movie, creating a rush of excitement in fans. Though many people were dilemmatic after the first part OMG was somehow questioned about the “hindu dharma” in many of the scenes, it has been made sure that the sequel takes a satirical take without hurting the actual sentiments of people.

Akshay Kumar in OMG 2 Teaser

The one-and-a-half-minute trailer gives an overall concept of the movie, starting with Pankaj Tripathi offering prayer in a ghat, and Akshay Kumar emerging with his gigantic body in the teaser. After playing Lord Krishna in OMG, Khiladi Kumar will now be seen as playing the avatar of Lord Shiva. The film is believed to be a cult classic and the teaser has received mixed response from the public, while some praised the godly avatar of Akshay in the teaser, others have shown their concerns and requested not to hurt the religious sentiments.

OMG 2 Release Date, Cast

While the original film OMG, starring Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar focused on faith and religion, the sequel is expected to focus on a societal issue. The sequel follows a new plot with new characters played by Yami Gautam as a Lawyer and Pankaj Tripathi as a firm believer of God. OMG 2 is directed by Amit Rai and also stars Arun Govil, who played Rama in Ramanand Sagar’s TV series Ramayan, who will reprise his legendary role as Lord Rama in OMG 2. The film will be released on August 11, 2023, clashing with Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel’s iconic movie “Gadar 2.”
