Pahalgam Terror Attack: Firing in LoC By Pakistani Army, Indian Military Retaliates

Pahalgam Terror Attack: Amid the major terrorist attack in Pahalgam, tensions between India and Pakistan have become a global issue. However, despite strict actions taken against Pakistan by the Indian government, the neighbouring country seems to provoke a “war” between the two countries. Pakistani forces fired on areas of the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, prompting an effective response from the Indian Army. There have been no casualties reported in this engagement. However, the soldiers have taken up positions along the border and are monitoring every movement of Pakistani soldiers.

Indian Military in Action Mode

Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi would soon depart for Srinagar and Udhampur. According to defense officials, he would meet with senior army commanders and officials from other security agencies stationed in the Kashmir Valley. He will assess the present security situation in the valley. He would also evaluate the Pakistan Army’s ceasefire violations on the Line of Control.
