Pahalgam Terror Attack: ‘We will be proud of him every day,’ Said The Wife of the Attacked Navy Officer

Pahalgam Terror Attack:  A new bride bid a heavy-hearted farewell to his husband days after their marriage - so has been the fate of the wife of the Navy officer killed in the deadly attack at Pahalgam in Kashmir. 

Lieutenant Vinay Narwal was commissioned in the Indian Naval Services two years ago, and had tied the knot with his wife Himanshi on 16 April. The couple was visiting the scenic city for their honeymoon, where the terrorist took away the life of husband. In an emotionally nerve-wracking farewell to her husband, Himanshi said with a shivering voice, “We will be proud of him every day... we should be proud of him…I pray that his soul rest in peace. He has the best life wherever he is, and we will make him proud in every way. It is because of him that we are still surviving.”
