Pakistan News: Air Pollution Grips Major Cities Including Lahore, AQI Reaches 2000

Pakistan News: People in Pakistan are having difficulty breathing as a result of air pollution, particularly in Pakistan's Punjab region, where air pollution has reached an all-time high. Lahore and Multan are shrouded in dense fog. The AQI for these cities has likewise surpassed 2,000. 

AQI Reaches Dangerous Levels

According to IQAir, Multan’s air quality index hit 2135 on Saturday, November 9, 2024. Because of the dirty air, visibility throughout the city has been significantly diminished. To avoid getting ill, the government advises citizens to stay at home.
