Panchkula Suicide News: Burari-Like Case Shocks as 7 Members of Same Family Commit Suicide

Panchkula Suicide News: A shocking incident like Delhi’s Burari suicide case has come to light in Haryana’s Panchkula area where 7 members of the same family committed suicide by consuming poison. All seven dead bodies were found locked in a car parked on the road outside a house in Panchkula’s Sector-27. The incident has caused panic among residents in the area. According to sources, the victim’s family was from Dehradun. Among the deceased were 42-year-old Praveen Mittal, his parents, wife, two daughters, and a son. Police discovered a suicide note at the scene.

Financial Crisis Led to Mass Suicide

The family had travelled from Dehradun to Panchkula to attend the Hanuman Katha.  According to accounts, the family members were in debt and experiencing a financial crisis.  DCP Panchkula Himadri Kaushik stated that six individuals were admitted to the Ojas Hospital.  However, all of them were pronounced dead. Another victim was transferred to Sector 6 Civil Hospital and later pronounced dead.
