Ranjit Singh Murder Case: Gurmeet Ram Rahim to be sentenced today after being convicted in Ranjit Singh murder case

Dera Manager Murder Case:

After 19 years in the famous Ranjit Singh murder case, the special CBI court on Tuesday will sentence five convicts including Dera Sachcha Sauda chief Ram Rahim. In view of this, Panchkula Police has tightened the security. The Panchkula Police, including the court complex, has deployed 700 personnel for the security of the city by putting up 17 posts, while police personnel is deployed in large numbers outside the district court as well.

It must be noted that the special court of Panchkula CBI will sentence Gurmeet Ram Rahim, convicted in Ranjit Singh's murder case, for the third time today. Police personnel has been deployed at various places in the city since morning. Apart from all the main roads of the city, there will be police patrolling on the highway. While police will also be deployed in plain uniform.

Ram-Rahim presented through video conferencing:

Dera manager Ram Rahim, convicted in Ranjit Singh murder case, will appear in the special CBI court through video conferencing from Rohtak's Sunaria jail. A lawyer will appear on his behalf in the special CBI court. At the same time, the guilty Krishna Kumar, Avtar, Jasveer, and Sabdil will be presented physically in the CBI court. During this, the police will bring the culprits to the Panchkula district court under tight security.

Convicted for following charges in Ranjit Singh's murder case:

On 8th October, in the Ranjit Singh murder case, the court convicted Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh and Krishna Kumar under Section 302 (murder), 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC. At the same time, Avtar, Jasveer, and Sabdil have been convicted by the court under sections 302 (murder), 120-B (criminal conspiracy), and the Arms Act of the IPC.
