The government has scheduled a series of 12 post-budget webinars, the first of which is titled "Green Growth" and asks for thoughts and suggestions for the successful implementation of the measures outlined in the Union Budget 2023. Three pillars for green growth and energy transfer were identified by the PM. Increasing the production of renewable energy is the first step. Reducing the economy's reliance on fossil fuels is the second. And finally, the nation should quickly transition to a gas-based economy.
In the upcoming 6-7 years, according to the prime minister, India must raise its battery storage capacity to 125-gigawatt hours. The prime minister concluded by saying that India has a great opportunity to lead the world in green energy technology. He emphasized that it will forward the cause of global good apart from generating Green Jobs.
