In this budget, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has started such a scheme, which will benefit both the farmer and the common man. PM PRANAM Scheme has been introduced to promote land reform and alternative fertilizers. This scheme aims to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers in agriculture. On the one hand, the quality of the land will be improved by fertilizers with less chemicals. On the other hand, people will get a chance to lead a healthy life by consuming less chemical foods. 

What is PM Pranam Yojana?

PM PRANAM scheme is a program run for land reform, awareness, nutrition and reform. The main objective of this scheme is to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers and promote balanced use of chemicals, so as to promote green growth and reduce the negative impact on the environment.

PM Pranam Yojana has many benefits

  • It encourages the use of alternative nutrients and fertilizers including natural fertilizers.
  • Reducing the use of chemical fertilizers will improve the quality of the soil.
