Pradeep hails from the backward village of Bundelkhand: 

Pradeep Kumar Dwivedi was born in Barigarh, a small village in Bundelkhand and his father was a farmer. Pradeep got his early education from the village and after 12th he went to Bhopal to pursue engineering. After graduating in electrical engineering, he got a job in the electricity department, and during the job, he made up his mind to go to UPSC.


Pradeep Kumar tip to pass upsc after failure

Pradeep shares that even before starting UPSC preparation, he had in mind to appear in the UPSC exam only twice. And if he does not get success two times, then he will not take this journey forward. Kumar did not get success on his first attempt, but he got selected on the second attempt. Although his rank was 491, due to which he did not get the post of IAS. So he made up his mind to give it one more chance.

 

How Pradeep Kumar cleared UPSC in 3rd Attempt

After reaching close to success, Pradeep went against his own decision and made a third attempt. However, for this, he prepared with much hard work, and his hard work paid off. Pradeep Kumar secured 74th rank in the UPSC Civil Services 2019 examination.

Sharing his experience Pradeep said that NCERT books are like a foundation for preparation. He believes that Mains and PT are related to each other, so preparation should be started keeping in mind the Mains exam. Pradeep considers the choice of the optional subject very important for the preparation of the exam, which should be decided after reading the NCRET books keeping in mind their interest.
