She is also the youngest person to own a cricket team as a co-owner of the Mohali-based team, Kings XI Punjab now called Punjab Kings. Her co-owners are Ness Wadia, Mohit Burman, and Karan Paul.

Though Punjab Kings is yet to clinch the winner's trophy at the IPL, the team has significant popularity. The film was purchased at $76 million in 2008 and became the ninth most valuable team in IPL in 2022.
