“Main Atal Hoon” Movie Release:  Pankaj Tripathi on Tuesday stunned his fans with a drop of his upcoming new movie “Main Atal Hoon” set to hit the theaters on 19 January 2024. The movie is inspired by the life of the tenth prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The movie title ‘Main Atal Hoon’ alludes to the name of the former Prime Minister and also emphasizes his unwavering nature, a characteristic of Vajpayee who was known for his firm political conviction. The poster describes him as a “man of steel” with a “heart of gold. The veteran Parliamentarian also had a knack for art and was a critically acclaimed poet.   

“The poet who rewrote history” would revel in good music and culinary practice even after he served three consecutive terms as the Indian Prime Minister. 

The movie is helmed by Indian director, Ravi Jadhav who also co-wrote the biopic which was earlier scheduled to release in December 2023. 

On Wednesday afternoon, he took to Instagram to share a captivating motion poster of the movie, unveiling a glimpse of him in the stellar look of Vajpayee addressing the public.

  • He is a member of Bhartiya Jana Sangh, predecessor to the Bhartiya Janta Party. 
  • He held the office as the Prime Minister thrice. Consecutively; and is the only Prime Minister since PM Nehru with two successive mandates.
  • Vajoayee holds the record for being elected 9 times in the Lok Sabha and two times in the Rajya Sabha.  
  • He was a journalist before he entered politics as a member of the Bhartiya Jana Sangh.  
  • He has been honored for his ardent leadership and selfless devotion with the second-highest civilian award, the Padma Vibhushan.
  • He was also awarded India’s highest civilian honor, the Bharat Ratna
  • He has been named as India’s “Best Parliamentarian” in 1994. 
  • He held the office as Prime Minister for only 13 days in May 1996 because of the lack of support from other parties.
