The Yearly Contract List of Team India Players for the 2022–2023 Season has been made public by BCCI. After receiving a promotion, star all-arounder Ravindra Jadeja has improved to grade A+. Also, KL Rahul was downgraded from Category A to Grade B. A total of 26 players have been allocated spots on the contract list by BCCI.

Contracts distributed in 4 categories

On Sunday, March 26, the Indian Board released the player contracts for the 2022–23 campaign. These contracts have been awarded in 4 categories in accordance with the rules that have been in place for the past few years. The A+ category will receive the most money in this, or Rs 7 crore every year. A category player then receives 5 crores. In B grade, there are 3 crore rupees, and in C grade, 1 crore rupees. They are separated based on the players who participate in various forms.

In the top category, there are now 4 players instead of 3 for the first time. Just Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Jasprit Bumrah have been in the A+ category during the past three years. Now Ravindra Jadeja, who has excelled in all three formats and has consistently been a member of Team India's starting XI in each one, has also been included to this. Jadeja once belonged to the A category.
