Radhika is a businesswoman, and a trained Bharat Natyam dancer ready to tie the knot with childhood friend Anant. Who is Radhika Merchant?
Radhika Merchant born on December 18, 1994, is a young businesswoman and a trained Bharatnatyam dancer who will soon become the youngest daughter-in-law of Mukesh and Nita Ambani. She is the daughter of one of the wealthiest industrialists in India, the CEO of Encore Healthcare Viren Merchant, and the Director of Encore Healthcare, Shaila Merchant. Radhika has an endearing bond with her sister Anjali Merchant.
Radhika Merchant Education
Radhika Merchant’s academic prowess is impressive. She did her schooling at Cathedral John Connon School, and Ecole Mondiale World School, she is a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from New York University with an International Baccalaureate diploma from BD Somani International School.
Beyond academics, Radhika’s interest lies in traditional dance form with training in Bharatanatyam for eight years under the guidance of Guru Bhavana Thakar at the Shree Nibha Arts Dance Academy in Mumbai.
Radhika Merchant Career
With her return to India, Radhika interned with consulting firms including India First Organization and Desai & Diwanji. Later on, she joined Isprava, a luxury real estate company, and moved to her family business at Encore Healthcare.
Radhika’s completion of dance training was marked with her ‘Arangetram’ the first stage performance hosted by the Ambani at the Jio World Center, Mumbai.
Radhika and Anant's Relationship
Radhika had been childhood friends with Anant Ambani and was a regular in the Ambani household. The two engaged in December 2022, at Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara, Rajasthan. Anant has mentioned Radhika as his big support in his health journey and feels grateful to have her by his side. Their sweet child friendship will soon turn into a marriage in July.
