Republic Day 2025: India celebrates 26 January as its Republic Day annually. On this day in 1950, the constitution of the country came into force, giving it the status of a sovereign democratic nation. The main attraction of this patriotic celebration is the Republic Day parade held on Kartavya Path. The parade is a time to showcase India’s military might, cultural prowess, and uniqueness as a diverse country. 

Each year a chief guest from a foreign nation is invited to witness the parade in the company of the Indian Prime Minister and President. This year, the president of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto will be sitting in the chairs of the chief guest with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Republic Day 2025 Parade Ticket Booking 

The tickets for the Republic Day parade can be purchased online or offline from 7 January to 25 January. 

The offline ticket counters are available at North Block Round About, Sena Bhawan (Gate No. 2), Pragati Maidan (Gate No. 1), Jantar Mantar (Main Gate), Shastri Bhawan (Near Gate No. 3), Jamnagar House (Opposite India Gate), Red Fort (inside August 15 Park and opposite Jain Temple), and Parliament House (Reception office) – Special counter for Hon'ble MPs. 

The counters open from 10 AM to 5 PM on weekdays and from 10 AM to 2 PM on Sundays and holidays.

You will require a valid photo ID proof to buy the ticket to keep your Aadhar card, driving license, or PAN card handy. 

For online booking of the ticket, you can go to the official website at  https://aamantran.mod.gov.in/login and book your ticket. 

Online tickets can also be bought from the Aamantran mobile app, by simply installing it from Play Store for Android and IOS.

Republic Day 2025 Ticket Price & Time 

The tickets for the parade are available at an affordable price for the people. The ticket price for the Republic Day Parade is Rs. 20 and Rs. 100 per ticket. For the Beating Retreat Full Dress Rehearsal ticket you have to pay Rs. 20 and for the Beating Retreat Ceremony, the ticket is priced at Rs. 100 per ticket.   

The parade will start at 10 am on January 26, 2025.

Nearest Metro Routes 

The facilitated convenience of metros makes it easier for people to reach the parade location easily. The nearest metro to Kartavaya Path is Udyog Bhawan Station (Yellow Line) and Central Secretariat Station (Yellow and Violet Lines).
