Rose Day 2025: As the month of February begins, the spring season brings the season of love with the whole week of Valentine’s embracing intimacy and affection. Starting from 7th February, Valentine’s Week starts with Rose Day, dedicating the day to the beautiful roses signifying romance, passion, and devotion. Couples gift rose to each other to express their eternal love and admiration for each other. Apart from giving roses, there are many ways to celebrate Rose Day and give some extra effort to your partner. Rose gardens are one of the best places for couples to spend the day blissfully and peacefully.

Keukenhof Gardens (Netherlands)

Keukenhof Gardens, located in Lisse, Netherlands, is well-known for its spectacular tulip displays, but it also has an amazing rose collection. The gardens, which cover 32 hectares, include a separate rose pavilion that displays a range of fragrant and colourful rose varieties, making it a flower lover’s heaven.  

Adelaide Botanic Garden (Australia)

The Adelaide Botanic Garden in South Australia is home to the International Rose Garden, which spans 2 hectares and has over 5,000 roses. It shows a variety of heritage, modern, and hybrid roses, as well as species adapted to the Australian environment, providing visitors with a vivid and aromatic experience.  

Bagatelle Rose Garden (France)

The Bagatelle Rose Garden, located in Paris’ Bois de Boulogne, is one of the world’s most prominent rose gardens. Established in 1907, it has over 10,000 rose bushes representing 1,200 kinds, including rare and historic species, and conducts an annual international rose competition.  

Nishio Rose Garden (Japan)

Nestled in Nishio City, Japan, this rose garden is noted for its eclectic collection of over 3,500 roses from all over the world. The garden has nicely organized rose beds, paths, and trellises, which create a stunning backdrop, especially during the peak blooming seasons in spring and autumn.  

Rome Rose Garden (Italy)

The Rome Rose Garden (Roseto Comunale) overlooks the old Palatine Hill and is home to over 1,100 rose varieties from several continents. Established in the 1930s, this picturesque garden is well-known for its terraced arrangement, panoramic views of the city, and the annual Premio Roma rose competition.  

Portland International Rose Test Garden (USA)

This garden, located in Portland, Oregon (also known as the “City of Roses”), is one of the world’s longest continuously operating rose test gardens. It has over 10,000 rose bushes spread across 4.5 acres, presenting new hybrid roses and maintaining award-winning kinds from around the world.  

National Rose Garden, India

The National Rose Garden, located in Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi, is home to a diverse variety of indigenous and foreign rose varieties. The garden is recognized for its perfectly kept flower beds, uncommon hybrid kinds, and seasonal displays, which make it a popular destination throughout the blooming season.
