Shockingly, in yet another surprise exit Mehta Sahab aka Shailesh Lodha has raised his flags for quitting the show following the departures of Disha Vakani, Neha Mehta, and Gurucharan Singh.

Sailesh has not been shooting for the show in the last month, according to people close to the production, and has no plans to return. Shailesh Lodha has a significant role in the series. He was Jethalal's best friend & also acted as the narrator for the show. No one can exit Gokuldham society without meeting Mehta Sahab.

Why is Shailesh Lodha quitting Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah

As per E times “He is dissatisfied with his contract and believes that his dates are underutilised in the show. Additional reason for this decision is that due to the exclusivity of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the talented actor is unable to explore other chances. He's turned down a number of offers recently, and he doesn't want to waste any more possibilities that come his way.” However the production houses are trying their best to convince the actor but it seems like Mehta Sahab is currently in no mood for any further negotiations. The actor has remained the part of the show since 2008 when taarak mehta ka ooltah chahsmah first debuted on the television sets.
