About Shark Tank India

Based on the framework of Shark Tank USA, Shark Tank India features a panel of “Sharks” who are founders or executives of well-known firms who listen to business pitches from founders and entrepreneurs. These Sharks assess the pitches and determine whether or not to invest in the pitched enterprise. The first two seasons of Shark Tank India gained a tremendous amount of audience engagement with remarkable pitches and strategically bounded investments. The viewers witnessed the humorous and straightforward beahivour of Former BharatPe founder Ashneer Grover, who was one of the Sharks in Season 1. Several memes on Ashneer’s dialogue delivery created a storm on the internet, with his iconic “doglapan” phrase.
