Shilpa Shinde: ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai’ famed actress, Shilpa Shinde is excited to be a part of the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 14. The actress who has been a part of several headlines for her popularity and controversies, is bracing herself to “give her all” for the show, which she deems as her ultimate opportunity.

Shilpa has been enthusiastic about the opportunity to join her fellow contestants in the show. For unawares, the 14th season of Khatron Ke Khiladi will be shot in Romania. Actress Sumona Chkratavarty Asim Riaz, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Niyati Fatnani, Shilpa Shinde, Karan Veer Mehra, and Aashish Mehrotra are among the confirmed list of participants in the adrenaline-spectacle.

Shilpa Shinde Biography 

The daughter of a High Court judge, Dr. Satyadeo Shinde, and a homemaker Geeta Satyadeo Shinde is a name known to many for her contagious performance in the sitcom ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai’. 

Shilpa followed her ambition to be an actress despite her father’s disapproval of her profession. However, with her achievements in the industry, there was no going back for her. Before venturing into the entertainment industry she was pursuing a Bachelor’s in Psychology whereas her father wished for her to study law. 

The loss of her father in 2013 took a plunge for Shinde as she went into depression. Emerging out of her mental illness she came out strong ready to take the world head on.    

Shilpa Shinde Career

After her debut in 1999, fame knocked on the doors for Shinde in 2002 with her role in the show ‘Bhabhi’. Subsequently, she was a part of numerous TV shows including Sanjeevani, Amarpali, Miss India,  Meher – Kahani Haq Aur Haqeeqat Ki, Hari Mirchi Lal Mirchi, and Waaris. 

In 2011, ‘Chidiya Ghar’ was her breakthrough show however she had to call it quits for personal reasons. 

Her life-turning role was of ‘Angoori Bhabhi’ in the show ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai!’ making her a sensation in every household. 

In 2017, she won the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 11’ and also participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 finishing at 12 place.
