Siddheshwar Nath Mandir News: Chaos Erupted After 8 Kanwar Died in Bihar’s Temple Stampede

Bihar Kanwar News: A major accident happened in Bihar’s Jehanabad area, where the Siddheshwar Nath Mandir, located in Makhdumpur, suddenly witnessed a stampede amongst the devotees on Monday, claiming the lives of 8 people, including five women, one child, and one man, while one died in the hospital while undergoing treatment. The incident occurred on this Monday morning when a huge crowd of devotees gathered at Baba Siddheshwar Nath temple on the fourth Monday of Sawan. 

Injured Admitted in Jehanabad Hospital

The police had to use a lathi-charge to control the large crowd, leading to a stampede and devotees falling on top of each other. Seven people lost their lives as a result of being crushed by the crowd during the lathi-charge. The injured are currently being treated at Jehanabad Sadar Hospital. It is expected that the death toll may rise.
