Sonakshi Sinha Marriage: The long-awaited rumours have now become true, as Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha finally married his boyfriend and co-star Zaheer Iqbal. The couple was rumoured to be dating for a long time, and speculations surrounding her wedding started earlier this month. Confirming the rumours, the ‘Dabangg’ actress shared a post announcing her registered marriage with Zaheer Iqbal, in the presence of their families and close friends. The couple kept their marriage a secret affair, with paps constantly clicking photos of their pre-wedding festivities, along with the couple’s close ones posting Instagram stories. Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have worked together in the 2022 movie ‘Double XL’.
With new hopes and forever love, Sona shared an adorable post on her official Instagram handle, announcing her marriage with the caption, “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife. Here’s to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever”

Sonakshi and Zaheer chose an off-white, pastel outfit for their nuptials. Zaheer donned a basic white kurta embellished with embroidery, while Sonakshi looked stunning in an off-white saree. Prior to the wedding, Iqbal Ratansi, Zaheer’s father, also made it clear that the marriage ceremony would neither follow Hindu nor Muslim customs. He also denied rumors that Sonakshi would convert to Islam, stating that their love is beyond religious boundaries.
Sona and her now-husband, Zaheer Iqbal, officially married under the Special Marriage Act. After a seven-year relationship, the couple exchanged vows at Sonakshi’s Mumbai home in the presence of her father Shatrughan Sinha, mother Poonam Sinha, and other family members. The civil ceremony was intimate, with only close family and friends in attendance. Before the marriage, Sona participated in her pre-wedding rituals at her Mumbai home. The couple is planning a star-studded reception at Bastian in Mumbai, which will be attended by Bollywood celebrities, close friends, and family members.
