Students clash in Jamia Millia Islamia University, 1 student injured | Clashes- Watch Video

A clash broke out between two groups of students at Jamia Millia Islamia University in Jamia Nagar area of Delhi on Thursday evening. During this firing also took place. A student was injured in this and he has been admitted to the Holy Family Hospital in a hurry. When Noman Ali, a friend of the injured student, reached Holy Family Hospital to see him, the students of the other group also shot him. Later he was also admitted to the hospital. The police is investigating the matter.

Delhi Police said that it had received news of a fight in the library of Jamia Millia Islamia University at around 8.50 pm. A senior police officer said that during interrogation it was learned that there was a fight between two groups of students.

Noman Choudhary, a 26-year-old student from Uttar Pradesh's Meerut district, suffered a serious head injury in the incident and was taken to Holy Family Hospital for treatment, a police officer said. Another student Noman Ali had come to the hospital to meet his friend Chaudhary, but in the meantime, Jalal, a resident of Mewat in Haryana, came to the hospital with his friends. He belongs to another group.
